MacBible (software)

I was wondering if anyone had a copy of MacBible, an early Bible program for Macintosh.

The creator of it went onto make Accordance, a more in-depth study program, but I know the owners and it's not abandonware since they make a version of Accordance for 68k (to run on Basilisk, of course).

MacBible isn't owned by the Accordance creators anymore...can anyone upload it?

It's more of a curiosity, really...

Yep, I've got a copy of this somewhere on a CD.
I'm not home right now, but I'll upload it when I can.
Quite a nifty piece of software, which will even run on system 6 if I recall rightly.

I'd like to say "Mee Too"... Smile
Any idea what Mac OS is required and how much disk space it takes up? I'd love to put a Bible app on my Portable which I believe runs 6.0.7.
Thanks!!!

I have just found the old floppies of my MacBible software.
They only play on Classic, i.e. up to Mac OS X 10.4/5 (PowerPC, I think), if you still have them.
It was my first and best piece of Bible software. Sad that is not available for newer Macs.

Was anyone able locate and post MacBible disks by Zondervan? I'd love to find KJV of this old app. Posting NIV or NRSV versions would break copyright laws, but there was a KJV version and would NOT break copyright as the KJV text is public domain. Perhaps the Zondervan software would be considered abandonware at this point since the pgm dates from approx 1993 and to my knowledge they never produced a follow on - as posted; Accordance Bible software for OS X became the new standard.
