XTREE

I went to reinstall everything on my Mac Plus and found that a few of my floppy disks are completely corrupt and unreadable, for most things this does not mater as I have multiple backups including disk images on CD, though I onl had one copy of XTREE.

XTREE is a Finder replacement, it provides a fairly good tree view UI, abd simplifies many things. I have heard that there was a Mac OS 7 compatible version, mine was not. It would work with multifinder (it could be run as an Application) though would crash on Mac OS 7.

I have looked for the shareware version, with out any success, though there is another program with the name XTREE for DOS (I found this while looking for the Macintosh Finder replacement named XTREE).

Does any one have a copy of XTREE that they would be willing to upload? Even the shareware version?

Edit: Replaced 'xxx 7' by 'Mac OS 7' - IIGS User

Sometimes it's called XtreeMac.
Have you already examined this site:

I hope I still have it somewhere, but don't know about Shareware version.

P.S.

I don't own original media of this application.

But the first time I saw it running, I thought "What a nice application".

I need to search through my Mini vMac disk images to (probably) find it.
