PowerWave 604/150 FREE, with a BIG catch - TAS AUSTRALIA

http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/mount-stuart/other-computers-software/sci...

Boy do I want this, but it is too heavy, and too far away.

I have used one of these scanners before, and it has etched-moiré free glass, and the best batch scanning software I have ever used. Actually, I will go as far as to say that this scanner produces images that are not bettered by $350,000 Dainippon drum scanners.

If you are close to Hobart, Tasmania AUS, and don't mind lugging away this 100Kg behemoth, you will pick up a very nice Power Computing Mac clone for FREE... FREE!!!

PS. Will probably come with SCSI2/SCSI3 fast and wide PCI card too !!

Yeah, I think I could manage 50kg + one other lifter... I really struggled with 40kg bags of cement tho.

I *cannot* go and get this, although I want it like sex...

please someone SAVE THIS POWER COMPUTING clone from the rubbish heap !!!

Good luck with this one, TMM. I really do wish I was closer, to help out. I would love to see you owning this scanner.

I worked in a high end repro-house, and scanned 100+ display quality transparencies per day with this very model. Never had to scan an image twice, thanks to the perfect batch software (and coded-preset trannie holder trays) (trannie means Transparency, not Transvestite!)
