OK - I admit confusion - I have visited the macos9lives site and found the Ableton demo version download links, but I see no solution (other than clunky workarounds) to the serial number/authorization issue …

after reading this whole thread again I feel compelled to ask:

- is it possible to "patch" the mac 4.x.x app with a Windows keygen?
- if so, is this as illegal as it ever was since Ableton feels compelled to charge $200.00 for an OS 9 license?

It has been my experience that if the software (version specific) is still sold by the developer or agent posting serial numbers or cracks here has not been allowed.
