I'm just wondering, no matter how hard it is to do this, if there is a way to run ms-dos on a 68k macintosh

Not natively no
and as far as i am aware there is no emulation software that runs on 68k either
Indeed natively not, but it is possible with emulation. In fact, i recently uploaded here such old versions of SoftPC and SoftAT. They require a minimun of 68020 mac.
yah i tried to download what u put on there but the link is broken
At this time, the SoftAT one comes with a d/l link written in the description.
Both "SoftPC 3.1" & "SoftPC Professional 3.0" run very well in Basilisk II (because of the extra RAM you can allocate to them).
"SoftPC 3.1 with Windows" also runs OK in Basilisk II.
All three emulate a 286 CPU, which can be an issue if you want to run programs that require at least a 386 CPU and Windows 3.1 in Enhanced Mode, as I found out yesterday (wanting to run ClarisWorks 1.0 for Windows).
So yes, you can run MS-DOS on a 68k Mac.
