SheepShaver Can't Find Entry Point [RESOLVED]

Okay, when I *try to* start up SheepShaverGUI, an error message comes up that says:

I'm not really sure what to do because I'm not sure what version of the dll was needed and where I had the dll. I don't use SheepShaver a lot so I'm not able to pinpoint where the problem started or what caused it. I've tried a system restore point that fixed a different haywire dll for a different program, and I've tried reinstalling SS, but nothing has worked so far.

Answers are appreciated. Solutions are appreciated even more.

On Windows the SheepShaver GUI requires GTK Runtime to run (it contains the zlib1.dll). Have you installed this? The E-Maculation setup for Windows page here recommends that you install the GTK version it links to on that page.

The necessary components (needed for Windows SheepShaver GUI), "SDL 1.2 Libraries" & "GTK +2 Runtime" are linked to on the above link's page.

So if you haven't installed the SDL Libs and GTK runtime. Do so. Reboot Windows & try SheepShaver again.

The following is a "just maybe":
If you already have these two items installed and SheepShaver is giving you this error message. Then my guess is the GUI also will require "PATH" to be set to the GTK runtime. i.e; to the GTK runtime "bin" directory. e.g; C:\Program Files\Common Files\GTK\2.0\bin (the path might be different in your OS but the "\GTK\2.0\bin" part will be constant.

Although, I'm not sure if setting PATH will be necessary for SheepShaver. I do have PATH set to GTK in Windows - as I also run a few other apps requiring GTK (which do require PATH to be set).

Install the runtime, launch SheepShaver GUI, if it still complains about the missing DLL, then try setting PATH to GTK in Windows. Requires a re-launch or re-login to Windows.

Well, I thought it was going to work but then another error punched me in the face.

I'm going to uninstall devkitpro to see if that helps (I don't use it anyway)

Update! By the way, uninstalling devkitpro made no difference.

Anyway, I found a GTK+ installer that worked and I replaced the SDL.dll with another one.
Here are the links:
GTK - http://gladewin32.sourceforge.net/
(Gtk+ 2.12.9 Runtime Environment Revision 2)

SDL - http://www.libsdl.org/download-1.2.php
(SDL-1.2.15-win32.zip) (There is also a 64-bit version available)

If these ever go offline in the future, I have the files and can upload them to Dropbox/Mediafire upon request.
