It's a Mac II emulator that can actually boot A/UX. That's something that has never been possible 'till now. It's also something that a lot of people have long wanted to run in an emulator!
Just a 0.0.1 version on github right now, but it looks really promising. There are a few screenshots now:
Very nice! I bought a SE/30 to get my A/UX fix but it was hell on that tiny screen.

Setup isn't that hard. The stumbling point is accessing the kernel on the A/UX media. For this I used ancientfs with MacFUSE. Mounted the A/UX 2.0 CD and copied out the unix file. Once you have ancientfs installed just run these two commands to mount the partition:
mkdir /Volumes/AUX
ufs --type 44bsd --dmg /dev/diskXs5 /Volumes/AUX (where diskX is your A/UX CD)
Some kind of a speed control would be nice as the mouse movement is too fast (the cursor in login boxes blinks super fast too). Maybe it needs some kind of vsync option.

Max´s server or Ubuntu1 might be a place for it and it would save me from the hassle to compile the beast in 32bit and the other tweaks you already worked your way around.
Here's the unix kernel from the A/UX 2.0 CD. Just add the CD image and a Mac II rom and point to everything in the app's preferences (you boot off the A/UX CD as if it's a hard disk, because it basically is).

I tried to compile Shoebill on my Snow Leopard MacBook but although I could get the core to compile, I couldn't compile the GUI. So I just ran it on my Mavericks hack.
What I'd love to figure out is how to get that A/UX 0.7 archive onto a disk image to see if it can boot.
@Protocol 7 - I just updated my Core-i5 Hack to 10.9.2. It works superbly, and Geekbench went from 10050 to 11050 (WOOT).
Going to update my Core i3 iMac as soon as my 400+ GB Time Machine backup to external USB finished (sigh).
No luck with my 10.8 Hack either. 
Maybe we will get a build for 10.6 and better, as the app advances.
As for 0.7, shouldn't dd write everything to any desired image?
The precompiled emulator should work on 10.8. What's not working there?
0.7 is a tar file of the drive contents, not an image. I don't know my way around A/UX enough to figure out how to add another drive, format it to SVFS and unpack the tar onto it. I'm guessing that's what would be needed.
