3-Button Optical Mouse Recommendation

I'm working with Cinema 4D R7. It is mostly ugly as far as User Interfaces go but it can produce some amazing 3D models and animations.

One of the things the UI sort of imposes on the unsuspecting user is a 3 button mouse. Yes I can simulate a right-click with the keyboard but it's sort of like playing Twister (left elbow on the Blue Dot, right foot on the yellow dot ...).

I have an old Microsoft mechanical mouse but I'd really like a wired optical one. Please recommend a 3-button mouse that will work with Mac OS 9.2.2.

If its going to be USB and only needs three buttons…
I´m very happy with cheap Logitech mice.
They may fail after some years, but can be easily replaced with a current model.
RX250 or M-UAS144 did serve well for many years and still do.

I'd really like a wired optical one. Please recommend a 3-button mouse that will work with Mac OS 9.2.2.

My recommendation for a basic wired optical 3 btn mouse is the cheap & cheerful "Logitech M90". Blurb on its box now claims it requires OS X 10.5 or newer. This is BS. Just install the drivers from here and it does everything you want in a mouse under Mac OS 8.5.1 to 9.2.2
