Stuffit Expander

I am opperating a beige tower G3 with Mac OS 9.2.2 If I had stuffit expander it was dammaged.
Do not have an original start up cd. How do I get expander files that do not have to be unstuffed before I can use them? .hqx or.sit files - my computer doesn't know what to do with them.
Plus - the mac is not on-line. My pc with Windows XP service pac 2 is what I use for email and web browsing.
Can someone help me?
I need to be able to use downloaded font files for the mac.

Stuffit Expander for Windows is downloadable for free on the web. It's I believe an .exe-file.

Also, if I recall it correctly, there are Mac OS 9 rar-Archives on the Web (Filestube, Rapidshare, etc.). If you find and open one of those archives with your Windows machine you should have a Mac OS 9 CD image with an unstuffed installer version of Stuffit Expander 5.

Your PC has a burner? Likely.

Here's an iso you can burn to CD. - Once you have the CD burned it will mount on your G3 and allow you to install Stuffit directly to your G3. - It contains Stuffit Expander 5.5 and Stuffit DropStuff 5.5 - Install both even if you never use DropStuff as that contains the Stuffit Engine that enables Stuffit Expander to become fully functional.

The Download Link.

Avoid if you can extracting Mac archives on your PC, as you stand a good chance of wrecking the files, they would be useless by the time you got them onto your G3 (because your PC will not understand a Mac's Resource Fork, if present).
As you don't have net connectivity to your G3, you would be better off copying any Mac archives that you DL to your PC onto removable media, such as CD or USB thumb drives etc and dealing with them directly on your Mac. On a beige G3, USB connectivity is possible with a compatible add-on PCI USB card.
