Hi all!
I've recently bought Umax S900 clone with G3 upgrade. Seller gave me original driver CD. Is it worth making image and uploading it on this site?
Best regards,
Alexander.
Hi all!

I'd like to see it anyway. Anything clone related is of interest to me.
Here it is:
Thanks Byteman!
Yes. Um, bit of an effort to convert from .rar & .dmg back to a bootable .cdr/.iso but was worth it. Currently have it installed on SheepShaver (Windows install), running on an Old World ROM. Nice.
For the curious, this installs the system software, Mac OS 7.5.5 for a Umax, Macintosh clone.
Thanks.
Actually this dmg is a flat uncompressed image. You can just change the file extension to iso or toast. No conversion needed.
Ah-ha. So it is. Thanks.
Could somebody upload it on the site? Ive tried to add this app, but no success
Got HTTP error, when clicked on "Upload" button...
Unless something has changed recently, it's too big to add here. Bandwidth is pretty tight.
You could just create a post and add it as an external download linking to your existing upload.
No, its not too big to upload here (only 270MB compressed) the cut-off is 400MBs. But it is too large to DL from here - that's still a 40MB only limit.
I was considering uploading to here for archiving and to elsewhere for DL, but it would be in a more universally friendly form if I do, i.e; zipped .iso
[Edit] I'll be putting a page up for this in the next hour or two.
[Edit 2] Done. Uploaded my zipped .iso to here and RS. Also added Byteman's link to the page plus screenshots.
Think I know why Byteman was unable to upload: Here's the criteria on the upload page:
Maximum file size: 400 MB
Allowed extensions: sit tar.gz tgz dmg hqx bin cdr iso zip sitx img
Note; Several formats allowable, but no .rar allowed.
MikeTomTom, thank you
BTW, I've tried to upload disk image both RARed and ZIPped.
YW Byteman.
You being unable to upload .zip does make it a mystery tho. I've read elsewhere here of problems uploading if for example, using Safari. I use the moz variant "Seamonkey" which doesn't seem to have those issues.
