Microsoft Excel The TeachText app in this package is reported as infected.
Yes I noticed that when I run the Norton Utilities, but is that really a virus? or is it just a "false positive"
..I'm gonna click it to see what it does.
Thanks for lettiing us know Balrog!
All the applications on my hard drive, including control panels, were infected with nVIR (both A and B variants). I don't know whenever I got it from here or some other place, but just for precaution I'm filling the report. By the way, I have never downloaded MacPaint or Excel, so if it came from here, it must be another application.
Important: if you have TechTool Pro, don't trust it. My copy supposedly fixed the problem, but when I scanned my machine with Disinfectant, it turned out that TechTool Pro itself was infected. Disinfectant, on the other hand, wiped the virus for good, so I created a page for it.
Thanks for the Disinfenctant MacWise, very useful,
I Scanned my Drives and I've got 1 infected file with the - nVir A -
the Stuffit version 1.5.1 that comes with the Stuffit Deluxe package is infected
