It was listed at Daxeria's page (down at the moment) as well. I sent an email but didn't get a reply. I was wondering if the boxart was taken there from the actual Mac version. What I know is, the game is listed in the SSI catalog of 87/88. The March 87 issue of Computer Gaming World mentions it among upcoming conversions, which would make it a very late port. It wasn't reviewed there however, and I don't have any scans of Mac-specific magazines. Strangely, the later SSI catalog from 89 I have only lists Pool of Radiance for the Mac, other games such as Gemstone Warrior aren't mentioned anymore.
So, does anyone remember seeing this specific game, bought it maybe even, or has any other "hard proof" ?

Unfortunately for us, the title seems to have some cachet among SSI collectors. I wouldn't be surprised if that copy is now in the hands of someone who's never even used a vintage Mac.

Thanks,that settles it then. I hope you'll find a better host, the site is a valuable resource for old Mac releases ( I had already saved it before in case something like that might happen).

I just scored a CIB copy of Computer Ambush for $1.50!
Well . . . complete except for the media.
I'll get the box and docs up in the next couple weeks.
