What to do after Quicksilver OS 9 install

I've just got OS 9.2.2 up and running on a 1GHz 2002 Quicksilver. It's a cracking machine, much faster than my eMac was when running classic.

I cobbled together a working system folder from the .images directory on a MDD disc and it works great. It's a bit temperamental when waking from sleep, it's frozen a few times now so I've just set the screen to blank instead.

Anyhow, now that there's no more automatic software updates, I was wondering if anyone here had a hit-list of updates to do after a fresh install? Obviously there are no OS updates but I seem to remember being notified of various bits of new(er) software last time I set a machine up.

If anyone has any links to something like that it would be most appreciated, or even if you have any suggestions I'm sure I could google my way to most stuff.

On a side note, has anyone else noticed that iTunes 2.0.4 radio stopped finding stations around the same time software update stopped working? Could just be a coincidence, haven't had a change to test this theory with a clean iTunes on the Power Mac yet.

Let's see, from memory there were 6 Apple updates after OS9.2.2 for the MDD. Digging thrrough my notes on rebuilding my MDD, I have 5 noted, these were:

AppleScript v1.8.3
Authoring Support v1.1.9
iTunes v2.0.4
Java - MRJ 2.2.6
QuickTime v6.0.3

Last one could be CarbonLib v1.6.

Hang on, while looking for somewhere to download these from (and there are many places), I found this http://www.greenconcepts.com/consulting/macos922.html - the links may be dead but it's a definitive list. I didn't have notes of the Outlook Express because I used Entourage.

Perfect, I think that roughly equates to the updates I had to do last time. Cheers bertyboy.
