What should I do with a .toast file ?

Hi everyone,
I'm a beginner and I have some issues with a game : Where in the World Is Carmen Sandiego?, the 1999 hybrid Mac/PC version.
I downloaded it and I have this .toast file. I don't know what to do with it, because when I mount it I got this :

And then I click on the Icon "Where is..." and a window opens telling me : "Can not open the application "(null)" because it may be damaged or incomplete"

What should I do ? Please help me Tongue

The game is too old to use on your OS X system.

Thanks Gary, that's what I though. It seems that I have to install OS 9 via Sheepshaver in order to play this game, right ? I guess it's way to much complicated for me...

There are pre-built installs of Sheepshaver around - including a virtual disk. (Or I could upload one).
Probably around 2-4GB with the virtual disk.
All you would need to do is to unzip - drag to your OSX Applications folder and use the preferences editor to select the correct path names to about 4-5 things.
(swap/unix folder, virtual disk, ROM file, ....).
Then you just launch Sheepshaver.
Toast files should probably be burnt to real cds for easiest use.
