This game involves a lot of hard drive thrashing. I've got a noisy drive, so I hear it.
I found on a forum this fantastic Linux/powerpc version of Heroes III, (Loki 1.3.1) http://www.mediafire.com/?h3oea1vdcc24pbw
I don't know if it's a problem disk image, my burning it onto a cd or what, but when I try play anything in the restoration of erathia campaign other than 'long live the queen' and 'dungeons and devils' the whole game abruptly crashes. can anyone lend a hand
P.S. I did delete some things from the Heroes folder but as far as I can tell it was only the manuals after I finnished reading them.
Other than that it's a pretty good game
