Hey fellow Gardeners:
Just thought I'd put a plug in for the 68kmla. I developed some problems with my Mac SE a couple of months ago, and I've never been much of a hardware guy at all. But I got on the the 68kmla and started reading and contributing. With their help, I'm managed to actually crack open some old machines, and I'm starting to learn how to fix and maintain stuff.
Software preservation is definitely still my top priority, since running software is the whole point, IMO, and software's a lot harder to preserve long term than hardware, IMO, but it's been a lot of fun and very rewarding to spend time over there and learn about the other side of the equation.
I'm sure some of you are already members over there, but if you're not, I recommend it.
