downloading AppleWorks on Mac OSX?

Hi, new here so I apologize in advance if this question has been beat to death. On the download page for AW-6 is says that due to the cost of bandwidth it is not available for Mac OSX. Before I saw that I tried a couple of different downloads and every time it gave me, excuse me for the lack of technical language, a download that looked like it was code for for programing. Please let me know if what I am saying makes and sense and if there is a way to get AppleWorks 6. Thanks, Scott

The topmost 23.46 MB link is working for me, (Safari 6.0.5 OSX 10.8.5) but its true that files over 40MB are sadly not available for us regular users from the MG server. Sad
The external links further down used to work for me. Depending on your browser you may need to choose "safe as" from the context menu. Assuming you got no right mouse button, the context menu is called via ctrl-click-left mouse.
Note that AW6 will need a PPC environment or Rosetta in 10.6.
