Here's another kind of abandonware: books in HyperCard format! This might not sound like a big deal now, but back in the day there was no PDF and HTML was still in its infancy, so reading public domain books from your computer was dull experience--until HyperCard came along. That's how many light-years ahead of its time this technology was.

I remember Tucholsky Stack as well as some things with Shakespear, created with HyperCard, but can't say whether i would find it again in my offline stuff...
