I need some help finding a game.

I hope I'm in the right forum. I need some help finding a game I used to play in middle school. It was a 3D mech shooter, but it wasn't Shattered Steel or Mechwarrior. I recall that there was a heavy emphasis on multiplayer and the graphics were very simple. It may have just been flat shaded polys. And I may be remembering wrong, but I think the developer was Australian. I'm not sure if that helps at all. Any help would be appreciated.

Closest thing I can think of is Super Maze War (1993, Callisto Corporation), or it was the first to come to my head, though it's not really mechs, but you are going around in a flat poly maze, shooting other tanks/mechs/whatever they are, and its main feature was the multiplayer. Another 3d mech game I'm thinking of is Avara, which is not on Macintosh Garden, but is still a somewhat old title (1996) from Ambrosia.

If those aren't it, what time period would this be? Might help people who know a little more than me. I know quite a few Mac games, but I'm by no means a penultimate expert.

Avara! That's the one. It's a shame that it's not here, but it looks like Ambrosia still has it up on their website for purchase so I might just pick it up and give it a try. Thank you Smile
