The X-Files Game

I have downloaded a copy of the X-Files Game (7 Hybrid CDs) from Adventure Legends and deconvolved the files into images that we can use here. Now I need to know if it is allowed to be uploaded here. My understanding is that Fox is the publisher and Electronic Arts is the distributor. I am hoping that since EA are only distributors that they cannot tell us not to host the game. Please do a bit of searching as well, and let me know what you think.

Below is what it says in the ReadMe on Disk 1. No mention of EA so I think we are OK to upload. Agree?

My MF account was disabled because of a bulldog acting on behalf of Fox and some others.
Not that I had such stuff, some here may recall the story.
Just my 2c.

Hmm, maybe since Fox is a movie company, they are extra sensitive. Also the pics of the CDs show that EA have their name plastered all over them, even though they are only distributers. Maybe it is not such a good idea to put this title up...I certainly do not want my RS account threatened, and we certainly do not want problems in the Garden

Any word on this, I'd love to have a copy for my mac. I currently have it for PC and it's a very fun game.

@justinrobert: as you've got the game disks and it seems they're Hybrids, try them on your Mac. Wink
