Resurrection of Mac OS 9

A member of this forum helped me find the "Macintosh 68K Emulation Pack". I'd like to pay the favor forward.

"Resurrection of Mac OS 9" is the PowerPC equivalent of the setup above. "Resurrection" includes Mac OS 9.0.4, many games, and pretty much every major application for classic Mac OS. Sheepshaver is also included, but it's an older version.

I didn't create this - I downloaded these files a while ago - but the original tracker is down. I uploaded to TPB so this stays available for others.

My request: if you're interested, please download and help seed!

P.S. I really wish TPB allowed editing of torrent descriptions. Some mangled characters got in, and now are there forever. Oh, well.

Nice one, grabbing it now. I wish someone posted the Mac Classic NO-CD patches again... I think I lost my copy.

I have to say that this is incredible. I am going to reseed this for a month, as this is the most amazing collection I have seen. about 40% of the stuff I don't have (and I had a good collection on backup) and about 30% of those, I have never even heard of. Lots of stuff to try out. I am hoping some of it is 9.2.2 compatible

i plan on doing something similar excluding all involvement with games + sheepshaver + focused purely on actual powerpc installers for young kids to use old standalone powerpc macs to run music production software packages to allow old powermacs to be used for music creation instead of the garbage bin, however i must voice my opinion that this would be alot more usefull with a proper detailed "contents" list i dont like downloading gigabytes of things i dont neccessarily want to use, but nice effort im sure some will appreciate.

A file called "Software List.rtf" in the torrent lists what's installed and is only a 16K download. If this can help someone else decide whether to wait for the whole thing, great!

I'm glad to see that my pack is still being distributed - if anyone wants a direct download link i have the entire collection on my mediafire account.
