The Fool's Errand Sequel - Finally Available!

Since The Fool's Errand is one of the classic B&W-era games, I thought this would be of interest to the crowd here.

After more than 10 years in development (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Fool_and_His_Money), Cliff Johnson has finally completed and released the sequel to the Fool's Errand, entitled "The Fool and His Money".

I'm only a couple of puzzles in, but so far it's every bit as devious and puzzling as its predecessor - although this time in glorious colour (and with fancy sound). Highly recommended for a bit of old-school, brain-teasing nostalgia.

And after all the delays and difficulties - go and help Cliff out by buying a copy!*

I've just written a feature for Archive.vg on Cliff Johnson, his history, and the making of the game.

(Sorry if bumping threads is frowned upon; it's been a while since I was a regular lurker here.)

That's hardly a *bump*, but rather is a well-worthy contribution to the community and to old-school Mac-gaming aficionados in general. An excellently researched and presented article - well done, Sir!

It's wonderful to have such insight the history of the Fool's Errand and what makes CJ tick. All we Fools raise a toast and wish his continued good health and success.

Everyone should check out Mossy's link. I can't think of many writers who have such a genuine affinity and respect for older games.

It's a great article
