Trying to remember early 90s Mac game

I have vague memories of this one game that I have been trying to figure out for years. What I know about it is:

-It was available and playable on a Mac Performa around 1994-1995. Most likely released between 1991-1995.

-Possibly a CD-ROM game.

-I think it was a point-and-click adventure or puzzle game in the style of Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis, or something similar. I definitely played the CD-ROM Fate of Atlantis on the same computer. This was at my school so the game may have had some kind of educational component to it.

-Might have had a medieval/fantasy art style (can't remember clearly though).

-One section of the game took place in a blue or purple cave. That section had very distinct synth string music in 6/8 time that I remember very clearly. I think that music was a short loop that repeated over and over, and that's why I remember it.

I've spent hours trying to figure out what game I'm remembering but couldn't come up with much. Anyone have a clue what it might be?

Do you remember what the gameplay was like? Did it use items or a different mechanic? Do you remember what the character looked like? Was music part of the gameplay or just in the background?

The medieval/fantasy style certainly gives a focus. I have a few games in mind but without a little bit more detail I can't say for sure and I would just be spouting out names.

nomed89, the music was just in the background as far as I can remember. I don't remember the gameplay mechanics well enough to answer any of your other questions, though, sorry.

Thanks for the suggestions, everyone. I'll do a little more digging...

I can't rule them out completely, but after some cursory Youtube searching I don't think any of the suggested games are the one I remember.

Here's something kinda crazy: I remember the music from that cave section so well that I think I transcribed it fairly accurately on the keyboard. This is really the memory that stands out the clearest for me; everything else is hazy. Can it jog anyone else's memory? http://dl.dropbox.com/u/3764227/game.mp3
