Unprovoked and Glyder

Hi, I'd like to see both these games put on the Macintosh Garden.

Unprovoked was made by Cortic Software, which no longer exists, and was a fun space shooter (with technocolor space walls).

Glyder was a 3D game where you tried to glide/bounce your craft from the start to the end of the level without hitting the ground too hard of going in the water. There were several craft, each with its own special power.

Glyder is different from Glider 3.12, Glider 4.0, and/or Glider Pro?

Yup, completely different game.

Had nothing to do with paper airplanes.

I know this thread is a little old but I too am tying to track down a copy of unprovoked. All download links that I have found go to the publishers site which does not exist anymore. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

There once was a time when folks used to say "Google Is Your Friend". Now I say "The Wayback Machine Is You Friend" Smile

Scroll down to bottom of the page to "Click here to download Unprovoked" Clicking the link gives an error, but then the download begins. At least it did for me, I just DL'd the file "unprovoked.sit.bin" and its 6.75MB in size. No idea if it requires rego etc.

Good Luck.

You can get Unprovoked via The Wayback Machine.

Glyder was a 3D game...

Do you recall who it was by? What platform? e.g. PPC Mac? OS X? Classic? etc. Is Glyder the correct spelling or its full name?
I'm unable to locate anything remotely game-like for the name "Glyder" except for a 3D phone app by that name.

No idea, I just remember getting it off a CD (maybe MacAddict). I think it was OS 9 since I used ResEdit to edit some of it. It was fairly basic 3D, but I remember that the first level had water that if you landed in it you died. And I'm pretty sure it was called Glyder, been so many years... But yeah, the object was to bounce your way to the end of the level without hitting the ground too hard, and there were different gliders with different abilities, like a boost, and a shield.
